{"id":1106,"date":"2023-01-05T22:10:43","date_gmt":"2023-01-05T22:10:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dauk.org\/dauks-letter-to-the-pm-rishi-sunak-featured-in-sky-news\/"},"modified":"2023-01-05T22:10:43","modified_gmt":"2023-01-05T22:10:43","slug":"dauks-letter-to-the-pm-rishi-sunak-featured-in-sky-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dauk.org\/dauks-letter-to-the-pm-rishi-sunak-featured-in-sky-news\/","title":{"rendered":"DAUK&#8217;s letter to the PM Rishi Sunak featured in Sky News"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sky News has reported on DAUK&#8217;s open letter to the PM Rishi Sunak, which states that the parliament must be recalled &#8220;immediately&#8221; so MPs can discuss the &#8220;NHS crisis&#8221;.\n\n&#8220;Writing a letter to the <a href=\"https:\/\/news.sky.com\/topic\/rishi-sunak-8527\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>PM<\/strong><\/a> on Wednesday, Doctors&#8217; Association UK (DAUK) &#8211; an organisation led by frontline medical staff &#8211; and its supporters said MPs must return from their festive break before Monday 9 January.\n\nIt stated: &#8220;The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/news.sky.com\/topic\/nhs-5893\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NHS<\/a><\/strong> is broken.
