Members of our GP committee have written an editorial on the uncertain future of GP partnerships in England.\r\n\r\nOur vice chair Dr Ellen Welch, a GP in Cumbria, and our GP spokesperson Dr Steve Taylor, who is based in Manchester, wrote about the partnership model in the BMJ.\r\n\r\nDescribed it as ‘a cornerstone of English primary care since the NHS\u2019s inception’, they wrote about steps needed to make partnerships more appealing to newly-qualified GPs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
